STOPPING SOCIALISM & ANTISEMITISM IN CITY HALL 

• NO to a drastic increase in minimum wage, which would hurt small businesses, forcing closures and layoffs

• NO to City-run supermarkets that would destroy private grocers and provide no benefit, as food prices depend on trade and sourcing, paid by taxes

• NO on all proposed tax increases, that will push residents and their businesses out of our city and CAUSE ECONOMIC COLLAPSE

SAFER SUBWAYS & NEIGHBORHOODS 

• Hire additional NYPD officers to patrol the streets and subways during the evening hours

• Amend the “How Many Stops Act” to eliminate bureaucracy and restore effective policing

• Legalize all pepper spray for self-defense against assault or bodily harm

INCREASING AFFORDABLE HOUSING

• Rezone and convert unused spaces to affordable housing with smart grants

• The Community Housing Improvement Program estimates that 20,000 empty, rent-stabilized apartments in NYC can be renovated and rented

• Provide targeted tax abatements and incentives to landlords to leverage  affordable and fair lease terms

• Reform short-term rental laws to legalize it in buildings where it's board approves it

REFORMING UNJUST FAMILY COURT

• Establish an independent oversight body with legal authority to review and override unjust filings, unethical conduct, and delays

• Hold lawyers, judges, and therapists accountable for abusing their power or harming children and families

• Require judges to disclose conflicts of interest with any involved counsel prior  to case appointment

SOLVING THE HOMELESS CRISIS

• Partner with NY State to reopen and modernize psychiatric care facilities

• Place them in long-term care treatment for their safety and the public if they are suffering from mental illness, substance abuse, and addiction 

• Structured help and job training for other segments of the homeless so that they can get back on their feet and re-enter society

 E-BIKE  SAFETY & COMPLIANCE

• Require users to register their e-bikes and buy insurance 

• Strictly enforce laws in parks to keep e-bike users off walking trails

• Increase enforcement fines for e-bike users riding on sidewalks

PROTECTING SMALL BUSINESS

• Improve regulations, timelines, and red tape that impede the creation and operation of small businesses and street vendors 

• Offer strategic tax breaks to landlords for fair small business lease terms

• Reintroduce the Small Business Job Survival Act, so that Small Business owners have a fair shot at lease renewal

STRONGER EDUCATION

• Raise the standards for Math, Science, and Reading 

• Build new schools for smaller class sizes

• Expand access and caps to Charter Schools 

• Create at-home tutoring and enrichment programs for public school students

 

​ANIMAL WELFARE

• Expand funding for animal shelters and prevent the euthanasia of innocent animals
